The main requirement of the brief, was to create a space of high prestige, but light and respectful towards the Acropolis.
The building’s listed elements formed the starting point of the design concept. All design interventions are of high aesthetics and were addressed as gestures of “haute couture”. The refurbished areas consist of the ground floor entrance lobby and the two distinctive gathering areas on the first floor.
Marble in earthly colours, forms a visual dialogue with G.Morali’s — famous Greek artist — pre-existing sculptured wall, while Greek walnut and grey stone cover the walls.
